Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before accessing or connecting to ECHO NeT servers, Discord services, or web administration portals.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Scope of Service

By accessing or using any services provided by ECHO NeT — including connecting to our Minecraft server endpoints (echosmp.mysrv.us), joining our Discord guild, submitting a Whitelist Application, or accessing our web management portal — you explicitly agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Community Guidelines.

If you do not agree to these Terms in full, you must immediately disconnect from all ECHO NeT services and cease accessing our web portal and Discord server. Continued participation constitutes ongoing acceptance of any updated terms.

2. Minecraft End User License Agreement (EULA) Compliance

ECHO NeT operates in strict compliance with Mojang Studios' Commercial Usage Guidelines & Minecraft EULA.

  • Non-Affiliation Disclaimer: ECHO NeT is an independent whitelisted Minecraft community. We are NOT an official Minecraft product, nor are we approved by, associated with, or sponsored by Mojang Studios, Microsoft Corporation, or any of their parent companies or subsidiaries.
  • No Pay-to-Win Mechanics: All gameplay perks, cursed energy abilities, tech progression, and items on both our Main SMP and Official Modpack servers are earned strictly through active gameplay, effort, and skill. We do NOT sell combat power, stat boosts, un-bans, or gameplay advantages for real money.
  • Cosmetic & Host Support Donations: Optional cosmetic badges or server contributions go 100% toward high-performance dedicated hardware hosting (SparkedHost), server domain fees, anti-cheat licensing, and infrastructure maintenance.

3. Account Ownership & Whitelist License Standards

Access to ECHO NeT is strictly whitelisted to preserve server quality and community security.

  • You are solely responsible for keeping your Minecraft account credentials and linked Discord account secure.
  • Account sharing, selling, renting, or transferring whitelist access to third parties is strictly prohibited. Any activity originating from your whitelisted Minecraft IGN or Discord ID will be attributed directly to you.
  • Staff members reserve the right to revoke whitelist access at any time if an account is compromised or involved in severe rule violations.

4. Virtual Goods & Non-Refundable Policy

Any financial contributions or donations made to support server infrastructure are completely voluntary and non-refundable under any circumstances. Issuing a chargeback or payment dispute via credit card or PayPal will result in immediate, permanent IP blacklisting across all ECHO NeT networks.

5. Zero-Tolerance Conduct & Anti-Cheat Policy

ECHO NeT maintains zero-tolerance policies regarding hacked client modifications (X-Ray, Auto-KillAura, Flight, Fly-Boots), severe harassment, hate speech, or malicious exploits targeting server hardware. Infractions lead to immediate, non-appealable permanent IP bans across both Vanilla and Modded networks.

6. Service Guarantees & Maintenance Modifications

While we strive for 99.9% network uptime, ECHO NeT does not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to perform emergency maintenance, update custom modpacks/plugins, patch balance exploits, or reset world seasons to preserve server health and competitive fairness.
